We made the shortlist!
Today we arrived into The Song School to the news that we’ve been shortlisted for an Essex Small Business Award, in the Business Owner category! Our founder and Director Louisa is humbled and overjoyed about the nomination and had this to say:
It’s important to say straight off that both the nomination and the making it to the shortlist would not be happening without the incredible team of musicians, creatives and all round good eggs on the staff, the board and volunteering at The Song School; plus our community of children, young people, parents, caregivers, partners, funders and supporters. This award is for everyone.
As a social enterprise, it is such an honour to be recognised alongside industry leaders in more traditional business structures and I look forward to telling The Song School story in order to shine a light on the work the third sector does as a whole for the people of Essex.
Voting for the awards opens on 1st February. You can either sign up to our mailing list or watch this space for news on how you can support The Song School in the final vote
