Let’s make music!

The Song School CIC is a nonprofit social enterprise on a mission: to create communities for music making, accessible for everyone regardless of circumstances.

We want to bring children & young people together from all circumstances to contribute to a more fair and understanding society and are therefore our growing community is welcoming space for all.

We exist to break down the barriers associated with learning music, including high tuition fees, access to instruments and practice spaces, plus environments where all children and young people can thrive. We want all to access the benefits that include improved confidence, self-esteem, mental wellbeing and educational aspirations.

Community is always our first priority at TSS. We recognise being part of a like minded group of people brings an unparalleled sense of belonging and encourages everyone to be their true unique selves and ‘shine your light bright’

COLLABORATION NOT COMPETITION

We have carried this ethos with us right from the start. We believe young musicians should work together to encourage, support and build each other up. This fosters our community spirit and encourages more light shining!

We want to provide the highest quality music mentoring across disciplines to ensure all children and young people have access to the best training. This ensures they are all given an equal chance of success.

At TSS there are no unrealistic goals. All students should feel they can achieve their goals: whether this is mastering a guitar riff, applying for music college or simply attending a class with a new group of people.
